Terms and Conditions

Disclaimer:
Proper service and repair procedures are vital to the safe, reliable operation of all motor vehicles as well as the personal safety of those performing the repairs. Standard safety procedures and precautions including use of safety equipment and correct tools should be followed at all times to eliminate the possibility of personal injury or improper service which could damage the vehicle or compromise its safety.

This material has been prepared with the intent to provide reliable information; however no warranty (express or implied) is made as to its accuracy or completeness. Neither is any liability assumed for loss or damage resulting from reliance on this material.

Do It Yourself (DIY):
DIY is not recommend unless you have a thorough understanding of a motor vehicle.  All repairs, replacement or fitment of parts should not be carried out without the advice from a qualified mechanic.  Incorrect fitment will void any warranty.  Please consider your options before installing parts yourself particularly items such as brakes pads, steering components etc.  Some mechanics are happy to fit supplied parts and charge labour only.  Call your local garage to see if they will allow this.

Trading Terms:
1.  All goods are sold on a cash only basis unless a credit account has been previously approved.
2.  All prices are subject to change without notification.

Supply Information:
Auto Addicts Ltd (AutoA) is in operation as a direct importer and retailer of automotive parts, accessories and other outdoor equipment etc.

Claims:
Check all purchases carefully upon arrival and advise us immediately of any shortages and damage to the purchase.

Return of Goods:       

We will only refund returned goods where they were defective or incorrectly supplied. Please ensure the parts you are ordering are correct for your vehicle. We are here to help and if you are unsure, email us with your part requirement and vehicle registration number, for us to confirm or advise the correct part required. We don't just supply parts, we are qualified technicians with the knowledge to help.

We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.

Parts will only be accepted for credit if returned with 14 days from the date of Invoice.  They must not have been fitted and must be returned in the original packaging with a copy of the invoice/reference numbers and a 10% restocking fee may apply.

Warranty:
Unless otherwise stated on the Site, all products sold by AutoA are sold under the manufacturer’s warranty and conditions from the date of purchase.

 

 

Replacement products or refund will be provided by AutoA where:

 

 

a) The product is faulty or not of acceptable quality; or
b) The product is not fit for its intended purpose; or
c) The product does not match the sample or the AutoA descriptions; or
d) The product was damaged during delivery; and
e) You can provide proof of purchase with the AutoA receipt

 

 

Replacement product or refund will only be completed upon receipt and inspection of items that are deemed faulty or incorrectly supplied.

 

 

For any replacements where the shipping expense is being covered by AutoA, the original shipping address will be used

 

 

Exchanges will only be provided on products that are clean, unused, and in a saleable condition. This means that the product must be in its original packaging, including manuals and all accessories, and the product(s) is unopened, unused and in its original condition. All electrical components cannot be returned if packaging seal is broken.

 

 

If you receive an incorrect or faulty product please contact us within 10 days of delivery by emailing autoaddicts@xtra.co.nz

Warranty is not transferable.

AutoA will not accept any liability direct or indirect for any injury, loss or damage sustained by the buyer however arising under any circumstances. 

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
Purchasing and/ or accepting items from AutoA indicates you are in agreement with our terms and conditions.

Retention of Title:
Until payment is received in full, AutoA shall hold the goods and they will remain the property of AutoA.
